Runes are ancient glyphs and symbols that were originally derived from simple Ogham line writing. Runes were used as both a written language and a symbolic tool for divination purposes. Their use was lost in time until the 17th century when runes were, once again studied as a tool for divination. Each of the ancient cultures: Celtic, Germanic, Viking, and Anglo Saxon cultures developed unique sets of glyphs that can be used by the modern student as tools to develop their intuitive abilities. This course will introduce you to various rune symbols and, through examples and exercises, outline their use as tools for divination.
