Chrissie Blaze
Chrissie Blaze is a
media personality and well-known figure in the New Age movement in England,
where she lived until 1995. She gave hundreds of radio and television
broadcasts, lectures and workshops on subjects from psychic development to
spiritual healing and U.F.Os. Blaze appeared regularly as a speaker at the
London-based Festival for Mind-Body-Spirit. She helped launch several nationwide
campaigns to raise public awareness, including the successful Natural Healing on
the National Health
She is a qualified teacher with credentials from the
University of London, England and certified with the State Board of California,
and has lectured on subjects ranging from business studies to yoga. She worked
for eight years as a lecturer at inner-London colleges, was the public relations
director of a London investment company, and later became the publicity officer
for international metaphysical organization, The Aetherius Society.
She regards her main career, however, as her lifelong study and practice of the spiritual sciences. Her lifelong quest for truth led her to The Aetherius Society in her teens, and she was a close student of the English yoga master and Founder/President of the Society, Dr. George King for twenty-five years.
Her experience is wide and varied, and includes teaching, writing, public relations, publicity and promotion, broadcasting and healing. She also earned a Certificate in Astrology from the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London and worked as a professional astrologer and numerologist in Europe and the U.S.A.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Blaze has written books including Workout for the Soul: Eight Steps to Inner Fitness, AsLan Publishing, Inc., November, 2001, and Mercury Retrograde: Surviving Astrology’s Most Precarious Times of the Year, Warner Books, Inc., April, 2002. She is currently writing a third book with the working title of “The Baby’s Astrologer” for Warner Books, Inc., for 2003 publication.
In 1985, Chrissie was ordained in London by The Aetherius Church as one of the first female ministers in England. In 2001, she was ordained as a priest. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Gary.
